Suhaib Arogundade (B.Eng., NEBOSH) – Co-founder/Chief Waste Eliminator
Suhaib has almost a decade experience in the United Arab Emirates and Nigeria across industries spanning through academia, oil and gas, management consultancy, charity organization, and waste management.
Suhaib is a NEBOSH, UK certified Environmental Manager. He has a coursera Certificate in Municipal Solid Waste Management in Developing Countries by École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and a bachelors’ degree in Civil Engineering with Environmental Engineering option.
He has worked on various project including recycling facilities supervision, waste audit, and waste management training. He is very familiar with United Nations Environment Programme standards on the development of Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan.
Suhaib being the lead strategist for WasteWatch Africa brings a dynamic and uncommon view to solving waste management challenges in Africa. He has organized and attended various waste management seminars and site visitation both in Nigeria and Malaysia including visiting the biggest and most advanced landfill site in Malaysia.
Suhaib a self-acclaimed Africa Waste Ambassador is an alumnus of AIESEC, LEAP Africa, and Daystar Leadership Academy. He is a member of Waste Management Society of Nigeria, Recycling Association of Nigeria, and regularly writes for www.bioenergyconsult.com and www.cleantechloops.com.
Abdulraheem Adewale Adetona (B.Sc, M.Sc, IGC-NEBOSH, AIEMA, MCIWEM) – Associate Consultant
Abdulraheem Adewale Adetona has a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from the University of Hertfordshire, UK. He is an Associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and a member of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management, UK.
Abdulraheem with his almost a decade experience in both the public and private sector has worked in energy, oil and gas, dredging, logistics, and environmental management firms. His role in this organization has always been in the area of research, quality, safety, health, and environment advisor. He is a NEBOSH Certified Safety Auditor from United Kingdom.
Abdulraheem has attended and facilitated various seminars and training on environmental & waste management and currently applying for an international fellowship course in Environmental Modeling and Monitoring.
Afua Ackah – Research Intern/Programme Assistant
Afua is an International Development student at the University of Portsmouth, UK who has been focused on the issue of inadequate waste management in developing countries, most notably in West Africa.
He is currently developing the implementation strategy for Waste Data-Bank in Africa project (an initiative of WasteWatch Africa).
Bamise Ojo – Research Intern
Bamise is a young and energetic professional with keen interest in waste management and eradication in Africa. He is a Civil Engineering graduate of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
